Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri coy on his own future
Maurizio Sarri remains tight-lipped on speculation that he will be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, with reports from Italy suggesting that the former Napoli coach could be coming to the end of his tenure at Stamford Bridge. A disappointing first season at the club could spell the end for Sarri, but at this point, this is purely speculation.
There are rumours that Sarri's position at the club is under threat with club owner Roman Abramovich ready to search elsewhere to find a replacement for the Italian if results are not deemed suitable before the end of the season.
With just two months remaining this year, Chelsea are expected to turn around their results otherwise some of the club's team and manager could be under threat for their long-term futures.
Sarri, who has also been linked with a number of vacancies back in Italy, is still very fondly thought of in his homeland and there will be no shortage of potential suitors should Sarri be shown the exit door at the Bridge.
