Manchester United manager drops big injury boost ahead of Chelsea clash
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has dropped a major injury boost with midfielder Ander Herrera returning to first-team training ahead of the Chelsea game.
The Spain international has been struggling with a hamstring concern in recent weeks and he has featured in just one occasion since the previous international break.
However, ahead of the weekend's league clash against Chelsea, Ole has confirmed that the Spaniard will be in contention to provide the much-needed boost in midfield.
"I would think so yeah. There’s three games left and Ander's been training, enthusiastic and will probably be involved on Sunday," he told in the pre-match press conference via ManUtd.com.
Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United are currently separated on the table by the difference of just three points and the latter can catch up with the Blues with a victory at Old Trafford.
Should the Gunners succumb to another defeat, United may potentially find themselves in the fourth spot with a big-margin victory. Ole's team need to win by at least four clear goals to move to jump into the top four.
