French giants Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to make a £60m bid to acquire the signature of David de Gea from Manchester United this summer.

The Spaniard has been reluctant to extend his United contract beyond the summer of 2019 and this has resulted from the fact that the club are reluctant to match his £350,000-a-week wage demands.

According to The Sun, Les Parisiens are one of the elite teams, who are willing to match his salary demands and they are confident that a fee of around £60m would be sufficient to do business with United for the player.

De Gea's form has dipped in the past few weeks and he has been guilty of conceding cheap goals in recent matches against Barcelona, Everton and Manchester City.

Aside from Les Parisiens, Real Madrid are also said to be looking into De Gea's situation with manager Zinedine Zidane not entirely pleased with the services of Thibaut Courtois, who signed for the club from Chelsea last year.
