Leicester City defender on Arsenal radar?
Leicester City centre-back Harry Maguire has emerged as a surprise candidate to bolster the Arsenal defence during this summer's transfer window.
The England international was heavily tipped to join Manchester United following last summer's World Cup but the Foxes managed to sway away the interest by committing him to a new long-term deal.
Still, there has been constant speculation regarding the defender's future and according to The Sun, the Gunners are said to be pondering over a possible approach for the ex-Hull City man.
Gunners boss Unai Emery is said to be working on a restricted £45m budget for the summer, but that could be enhanced with the club's qualification to the Champions League.
Otherwise, the Spanish tactician is likely to bolster the transfer kitty with the sale of out-of-favour and underperforming players, but it remains to be seen whether they can afford Maguire.
Leicester City are said to value Maguire in the region of £75m and such a sum would likely cover up most of the budget for the summer after possible player departures.
