United prepared to offload Sanchez

Manchester United are reportedly willing to compensate Alexis Sanchez with 50 percent of his £26m yearly wages in order to offload him from the club's ranks in the summer.

The Chile international has emerged as a major flop since joining the Red Devils from Arsenal in January 2018, and he has managed just five goals from 44 appearances in all competitions.

Despite this, the club have struggled to offload him due to his massive £500,000-a-week wages but The Mirror suggests that they could pay him off with a £13m sum to take a paycut elsewhere.

Still, the Mancunian giants are reluctant to sell him to a direct Premier League rival and they are likely to await offers from overseas clubs during this summer's transfer window.

Sanchez has featured off the bench in three of his previous four appearances but he has failed to make a meaningful impact. He could be restricted to a similar role against Huddersfield Town this weekend.
