Aston Villa plan permanent move for Chelsea striker

Tammy Abraham news

Abraham wanted at Villa permanently

Aston Villa are planning a bid worth £25m for the services of Tammy Abraham, who is currently in the ranks of Premier League side Chelsea.

The England international has spent the entirety of the ongoing season on loan with the Villains, where he has excelled with 26 goals from 38 Championship appearances.

According to The Telegraph, the west Midlands outfit are keen on securing a permanent move for the marksman this summer, provided they make their comeback to the Premier League.

The same publication suggests that they would be willing to pay around £25m for the young striker, who has previously featured for the likes of Swansea City and Bristol City on loan.

Villa currently hold a 2-1 advantage over West Bromwich Albion after the opening leg of their playoff semi-final, and should they progress, they could face either Leeds United or Derby County in the Wembley final this month.

Chelsea are presently under a two-window transfer ban imposed by FIFA but that may have no effect on the future of Abraham, who has struggled to make himself a regular at the west London side.
