Manchester United quoted price for Premier League defender

Manchester United have reportedly been told that they must pay a fee of around £85m to secure the signature of Harry Maguire from Leicester City.

The England international was strongly tipped to join the Red Devils after the 2018 World Cup but he instead decided to pen a new long-term deal with the Foxes.

Despite this, the speculation over his future has refused to cease and according to TEAMtalk, the Foxes could accept a significant sum of around £85m for his services this summer.

Furthermore, it is added that the Foxes are lining up Brighton & Hove Albion's Lewis Dunk and they will make a formal approach, should Maguire head through the exit door.

Both United and City have been linked with the former Hull City man but the former appear to hold the better chance of landing him, considering they could assure him with a regular starting berth at the heart of the backline.
