Yannick Ferreira Carrasco hints at Arsenal move?

Belgium international Yannick Ferreira Carrasco has hinted that he could a return to European football this summer amid interest from the likes of Arsenal.

The Gunners were keen on landing the attacker's signature from Dalian Yifang during the 2019 winter transfer window but a deal failed to materialise with the Chinese club opting against a mid-season sale.

Despite this, he has regularly spoken about the prospect of returning to Europe and speaking to Nieuwsblad, the former Atletico man has acknowledged that he has an offer on the table to seal a comeback.

"There is now an offer on the table and the negotiations with my agent are progressing well. I am the most important player in the club, but I hope the chairman understands me," he said.

Arsenal are on the hunt for a specialist winger this summer with England international Danny Welbeck due to part ways when his contract expires at the end of the month.
