Manchester United locked in transfer talks for Premier League defender

Manchester United are reportedly locked in transfer negotiations with Crystal Palace as they seek to secure the signature of Aaron Wan-Bissaka this summer.
The right-sided defender has made tremendous progress during the past 18 months with the Eagles and this has seen him linked with a number of high-profile English clubs including Arsenal and United.
According to The Mail, United are the leading contenders to pursue he right-back and they have made an initial offer of £35m with the remaining £15m to be settled in the form of performance-based add-ons.
However, the south London outfit have not been impressed with the proposal and it is claimed that they are looking for a straight fee of £50m to be paid for the England Under-21 international.
Wan-Bissaka is known to be keen on pursuing the move to Old Trafford this summer but Sky Sports News has indicated that the defender may not necessarily hand in a transfer request to push through a transfer.
