Arsenal make contact with father of French centre-back?
Arsenal are understood to have made contact with the father of Presnel Kimpembe in an attempt to secure the defender's signature this summer.
The 23-year-old has struggled to nail down a regular role with Les Parisiens in recent seasons and he was restricted to just 23 starts the course of the 2018/19 league campaign.
According to Soccer Link, Gunners boss Unai Emery is said to be a huge admirer of the defender's talents and he is keen on a reunion after their time together at Parc des Princes.
As such, the north London side are said to have made an approach to the father of the defender to find out whether the Frenchman has any plans of pursuing a fresh challenge during the summer.
Kimpembe has spent his entire career with Les Parisiens and he has made over 100 appearances in all competitions. He has also earned eight caps with the France national team and was part of the World Cup-winning squad.
