Liverpool make transfer decision on Bruno Fernandes
Liverpool are said to hold no plans to acquire the services of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon this summer.
Fernandes has recently come off an impressive season where he bagged 32 goals and 18 assists for Sporting across all competitions.
As such, there has been speculated interest from the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool but Standard Sport claims that the latter are not in the race to sign the 24-year-old.
A recent report from A Bola cited that the Reds had made an opening bid worth £40m for the midfielder but it has now been cited that the Merseyside outfit are not interested in a summer swoop.
Fernandes currently has a contract with Sporting until the summer of 2022 and the Portuguese outfit are in a strong position to discuss a significant sum for his sale.
He has a £86m release clause on his existing deal with Sporting, though reports have emerged that the club could accept a fee of around £70m for the Portuguese.
