Manchester United preparing medical for Premier League defender
Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka will reportedly undergo his medical with Manchester United next week ahead of his proposed move to the club.
The Red Devils have been in negotiations with the Eagles for the right-back in the past few weeks and reports have emerged that they have found the breakthrough for a transfer.
According to Football Insider, the Mancunian giants are set to pay an initial fee of around £42.5m for the 21-year-old with the remaining £12.5m to be settled in the form of performance-based add-ons.
The same outlet claims that a medical is scheduled for the forthcoming week with the defender set to return from the European Under-21 Championship where the Young Lions were eliminated in the group stage itself.
Wan-Bissaka is set to become the club's second signing of the summer transfer window behind Daniel James, who joined the club from Swansea City earlier in the month.
Wan-Bissaka, who has yet to make his senior England debut under Gareth Southgate, made 35 appearances for the Eagles during the course of the 2018/19 campaign.
