Arsenal ready to make official bid for Brazilian winger
Arsenal are reportedly prepared to make an official offer to secure the signature of Everton Soares from Gremio this summer.
The Brazilian was one of the standout performers for his national side at the recent Copa America tournament and he was rewarded with the Golden Boot award after contributing three goals and an assist.
According to Globo Esporte, the north London giants have already held preliminary discussions with Gremio for the winger and they are now willing to make an offer worth £36m to land his signature.
The same publication claims that the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid are monitoring the proceedings, though the Gunners may have the advantage with the presence of Edu at the club.
Edu Gaspar, who was previously working as the co-ordinator with Brazil, has been appointed as the Gunners' first-ever technical director and reports suggest that he could prove pivotal to luring the winger to the Emirates.
