United back in for Eriksen?

Manchester United have reportedly told the representative of Christian Eriksen to provide an update on the Dane's situation at Tottenham Hotspur.

The Denmark international has less than 12 months remaining on his current deal with Spurs and so far, he has given no indication that he would pen an extension.

As such, there has been the speculation that he could head through the exit door this summer and The Mail claims that United are keeping tabs on the developments.

At present, Spurs are eyeing a big-money for Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis and the Argentine's arrival could pave the way for the departure of Eriksen from the north London side.

Still, United may not get the player on the cheap and it is suggested that Spurs would demand at least £70m for the playmaker, who has previously been linked with Real Madrid.

Spurs have made two signings for the summer with Jack Clarke and Tanguy Ndombele joining them from Leeds United and Lyon respectively. They are scheduled to face United in a pre-season friendly tomorrow.
