Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is prepared to consider a fresh challenge away from Old Trafford amid fears that his gametime could be significantly reduced next term.

The Argentina international has been with the Red Devils for the past five years but his gametime was drastically reduced last season where he made just six appearances.

According to ESPN, the versatile defender will push for a move away from Old Trafford in the next few weeks unless he is able to receive assurances of regular playing time.

Rojo is already behind the likes of Victor Lindelof, Chris Smalling and Phil Jones in the race for the centre-defensive role and he could drop further with the club tipped to sign Harry Maguire from Leicester City.

Meanwhile, the Argentine can likewise slot into the left side of the defence but even there, he finds himself behind Luke Shaw and Ashley Young in the pecking order.

Rojo has been linked with multiple clubs in Spain, Italy and France but he may also have the chance of remaining in the Premier League next term with Wolverhampton Wanderers interested.
