Hiddink signs new Russia deal
Dutch manager Guus Hiddink has penned a new deal with the Russian Football Federation to stay on as the country's boss until at least 2010. Hiddink guided Russia to the 2008 European Championships at the expense of England.
"Today Hiddink signed his new contract," the chief of the RFU press service Andrei Malosolov told the press.
"He will stay at his post until July 2010."
It is believed that Hiddink is being paid over £50,000 a week as the Russian boss, and that the majority of his wages are being paid for by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich.
