Darmian off to Inter next summer

Inter Milan have reportedly reached an agreement with Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian regarding a Bosman move at the end of the season.

Darmian has been with the Red Devils since the summer of 2014, but he has managed just 14 league appearances in the past two seasons with the Old Trafford club.

Moreover, he appears out of favour at the moment with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer deciding against choosing him in the matchday squad, but that may not necessarily pave the way for his exit this summer.

According to Rai Sport, the Nerazzurri have offered Darmian an escape route away from Old Trafford after agreeing on a free transfer once the current season concludes.

The San Siro outfit have already signed Romelu Lukaku from the Red Devils after they agreed to pay a club-record £73m deal for the Belgium international this month.

Juventus have previously been linked with a move for Darmian, but a deal never materialised with United reluctant to lower on their £12.8m asking price despite the Italian's contract expiring next summer.
