Paul Pogba's brother drops update on midfielder's future
The brother of Paul Pogba has said that there is still the chance that the midfielder will secure a move to Real Madrid from Manchester United this summer.
Pogba publicly admitted that he would prefer a new challenge away from the Red Devils in June but that has not necessarily materialised into a transfer elsewhere.
Still, Los Blancos continue to be linked with the former Juventus man and the player's brother Mathias has suggested that the Madrid giants can still afford to sign Pogba before the Spanish transfer deadline.
"Paul wants to go. He can't do everything at United," he told El Chiringuito. "The player that [Zinedine] Zidane is missing is Paul. It's not impossible for Florentino [Perez] to sign him."
Los Blancos are understood to rate the France international at around £120m and that remains £50m less than the Red Devils' valuation for the 2018 World Cup winner.
There has been no concrete negotiations between the sides this summer, but a late transfer could still be on the cards with Zinedine Zidane desperate to land a world-class midfielder before the transfer window shuts.
