Glen Johnson speaks on Chelsea's top-four prospects

Former Chelsea and Liverpool star Glen Johnson believes the Blues could easily break into the top four of the Premier League this season with both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur struggling for form.
The west London giants made the worst possible beginning to the campaign as they suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to United at Old Trafford but they have since redeemed themselves with an average of two points in the next seven games.
This sees them behind the top four on just goal difference and Johnson feels that his former club have a genuine chance of securing a Champions League spot, which may have looked unlikely at the start of the season.
"If Chelsea can keep going as they are, they could easily break into the top four. I’ve always said if Frank Lampard could get them into the top six he’s done a fantastic job and with the way United and Spurs are going, he could do even better than that," he told BETDAQ.
Chelsea return from the international break with a home game against Newcastle United. A victory could see them propel into the top four, provided the other results go their way.
