Arsenal keeping tabs on Portuguese attacker
Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the progress of Olympiacos winger Daniel Podence with a view to a future approach for his services.
The 23-year-old has been with the Greek outfit for the past 15 months where he has contributed a tally of eight goals from 41 appearances.
According to Sportime, the Gunners have been impressed with the displays of the Portuguese and that includes his goalscoring contribution in the 2-2 comeback draw against Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League last month.
Podence, who is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, is also understood to be attracting interest from Spanish sides Sevilla and Valencia.
The Portuguese ace is currently valued at around £21m and his arrival at the Emirates may depend on the departures of out-of-favour players.
Mesut Ozil and Shkodran Mustafi are presently among the Gunners star, who have been fancied to head through the exit door at the turn of the year.
Arsenal are presently third in the Premier League standings with 15 points on the board. They are scheduled to face Sheffield United on the road on Monday.
