Christian Pulisic reacts after bagging hat-trick in Chelsea's win over Burnley
Chelsea attacker Christian Pulisic has expressed his delight after bagging his maiden professional hat-trick in the 4-2 league triumph over Burnley on Saturday.
The United States international was handed with his maiden league start in more than 50 days and he made the most of the opportunity by bagging a treble.
Speaking after the game, Pulisic was delighted with his impact for the team and acknowledged that the day has been special after managing his first professional hat-trick.
"I just want to be on the field, help the team and make an impact. I didn’t think it would be super easy. But I have come on a few times the past few weeks and was happy to start today, it was a special day," he told BBC Sport.
Chelsea's 4-2 triumph over Burnley sees them cement the fourth position in the Premier League table for another gameweek. They are scheduled to face Manchester United in the League Cup fourth round on Wednesday night.
The west London giants suffered an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to the Red Devils in the league opener in August and they will be eyeing revenge with the game on their home turf.
