Thomas Muller's transfer stance revealed amid Man United link

Thomas Muller has reportedly made no contact with the representatives of Manchester United unlike speculated in the media earlier this week.

The Germany international has made just three league starts since the start of the season and there has recently been speculation that the Red Devils have enquired regarding his availability.

However, according to Sky Sport Germany, that does not appear the case and the attacker is set to remain with Bayern Munich beyond the January transfer window.

United are eyeing experienced reinforcements in their frontline after parting ways with Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez (loan) to Inter Milan during the summer.

Aside from Muller, Juventus' Mario Mandzukic has also been linked with the Red Devils and the interest seems genuine with the striker said to be open to the prospect of playing in the Premier League.

United are currently languishing in the 15th position in the league standings but they can jump to the top half of the table with a victory in their game in hand over Norwich City.
