Eden Hazard unsurprised by Frank Lampard's success at Chelsea
Real Madrid star Eden Hazard has said that he is unsurprised by Frank Lampard's success since taking charge as Chelsea's head coach over the summer.
The 41-year-old experienced a mixed beginning to the season with the Blues as they struggled to pick up regular wins but things have changed over the past months.
The west London giants are currently placed comfortably in the top four after a six-match winning streak in the Premier League while their defensive record has likewise improved with three clean sheets in this period.
In a report covered by The Express, Hazard said that he is not surprised by the success of Lampard in the Blues' head coach role and stated that the Englishman can be one of the best managers in the world.
"No, not at all. I know Frank as a player, not as a manager, but he’s a great guy. He’s showed already after four months that he can be one of the best managers in the world," he told.
Chelsea return from the international break with a Premier League clash at Manchester City next weekend. The Blues have won just one of the previous six meetings against the Citizens.
