German attacker excited by prospect of joining Man United
Germany international Kai Havertz is reportedly excited by the prospect of joining Manchester United when the current season comes to a close.
The 20-year-old has been highly regarded with the ranks of Bayer Leverkusen and he has already bagged 31 goals from 119 games in all competitions.
According to Bild, the likes of United, Liverpool, Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are all keeping a close watch on the attacker ahead of possible offers next summer.
However, Havertz is said to favour the idea of joining the Red Devils despite them being out of contention for next season's Champions League at the present point of time.
United are currently nine points behind the top four places and their prospects of qualifying for the elite competition through the league remain slender barring a strong comeback.
Else, they will have to rely on winning the Europa League to progress to the Champions League but that remains far from straightforward with the competition from the likes of Arsenal, Sevilla among others.
