Arsenal want Demiral next month

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offer Hector Bellerin in a part-exchange deal to sign Merih Demiral from Juventus next month.

Bellerin has been with the Gunners since the summer of 2011 and he has racked nearly 200 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Of late, there has been speculation through his agent that he could favour a move to the Serie A and Calciomercato claims that could be realistic possibility when the transfer window reopens.

The same publication cites that the Gunners are desperate to sign Demiral to strengthen the central defensive department and Bellerin could be used as a makeweight to significantly reduce the £34m price tag set by Juventus.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are also in the running for Demiral's services and they could yet hamper the Gunners' plans by proposing a straight-cash deal for the Turkey international.

Demiral has been exceptional at the international level alongside Leicester City's Caglar Soyuncu. He has not got the chance to express himself at Juventus with just one appearance since his summer move from Sassuolo.
