Frank Lampard wants replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga
Frank Lampard has reportedly urged Chelsea to find a replacement for goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga following the Spaniard's inconsistency between the sticks this term.
The Spaniard has produced a mixed bag of performances in goal for the Blues and in the current campaign, he has been faulty with his distribution and shot-stopping in certain games.
According to Bleacher Report, Lampard is keen on landing a new shot-stopper at the turn of the year and he has informed the Blues regarding his transfer plans.
Arrizabalaga has spent only 18 months with the Blues since his club-record move last year and he is understood to be under pressure amid his recent performances in goal.
Meanwhile, reports elsewhere claim that Lampard may consider recruiting a new goalkeeping coach, who can rectify the flaws present in the Spaniard's distribution.
Chelsea have kept just three clean sheets in the Premier League this term. They are presently only three points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur in the race for the final Champions League spot.
