According to Sky Sports, Wolves are eyeing a move for Ecuadorian striker Leonarda Campana.

The report also claims that the Premier League side are talks with the 19-year-old and he will be expected to feature in Wolves’ U-23 side should a transfer happen.

Campana, who is currently plying his trade at Ecuadorian outfit Barcelona SC, was one of the top performers in the South American U-20 Championship, helping Ecuador to lift the crown. He ended up as the tournament's top scorer.

He also earned his maiden call-up to the senior team earlier this year, making 4 appearances thus far. Campana also holds a Spanish passport, which Wolves cite as an added advantage in acquiring a work permit for him.

The South American teenager's contract expires at the end of this season, and he has previously caught the eye of Serie A club, Napoli.

Salzburg’s promising striker Hwang Hee-Chan is also linked with a move to Molineux.

Nuno Santo’s side are currently 7th in the Premier League table and have won both of their fixtures against defending champions Manchester City.
