No Maguire for Norwich clash

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed a fresh injury concern with Harry Maguire doubtful for the weekend's game against Norwich City with a hip problem.

The England international was initially deemed to have picked up a hip problem but it has recently been reported that he has a concern with a torn hip muscle.

Speaking in a recent press conference, Solskjaer has admitted that he is unclear regarding the length of the defence's absence and dismissed his prospects of featuring against the Canaries.

"We don't know (about Maguire). He's not going to be long term, but I don't think he'll be ready for the weekend, but let's see," he was quoted as saying by Manchester Evening News.

In the absence of Maguire, Jones is likely to continue in the central defensive role alongside Victor Lindelof. Jones appeared to have sustained an injury in midweek but Solskjaer has dismissed any concerns by stating that he had only picked up a bout of cramp.
