Brazilian giants Gremio have quashed rumours that Everton have made an offer for their 23-year-old striker, Everton. Speaking to Correio do Povo, the club’s executive director Klauss Camara, attempted to set the record straight by explaining that; “Everton at Everton is a situation that is coming up more intensely, but there's no presented offer. In recent months, he's been linked to several giants in Europe, but nothing concrete.”

It’s no secret that Toffees boss Carlo Ancelotti has money to spend in the January transfer window and reports have suggested that the Italian tactician is desperate to bolster his squad by bringing in more fire-power up front, despite Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s upturn in form under his tutelage at Goodison Park.

The Brazilian international was outstanding during the 2018-19 season scoring 15 times in 42 appearances, but as Camara suggests, it seems the Merseyside club will have intense competition to try to convince him that his future will be best served in the Premier League.
