Zinedine Zidane confirms injury setback for Eden Hazard
Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has confirmed the injury setback for key ace Eden Hazard.
The Belgian starlet limped off during the La Liga clash against Levante, casting a major doubt for the Manchester City and Barcelona games.
Following the defeat, Zidane spoke about Hazard’s setback, stating that the injury looks worse.
"Hazard got hit on his bad ankle. He has been hit in the ankle from the injury. We'll have to do tests but it looks bad," he told via Goal.com.
The 28-year-old returned to action last week in the game against Celta Vigo after being sidelined for roughly two months due to a hamstring injury.
Zidane also further spoke about the team’s defeat which eventually saw them go behind Barcelona in the La Liga table.
Zidane added: "We failed at the most important thing in football and that's to score. It's screwed up because in a week we've dropped five points, but this is football."
Hazard’s injury comes as a untimely blow for Los Blancos ahead of the crucial UCL knockout clash against Cityzens.
