Chelsea star heading for summer exit after rejecting new contract
Chelsea winger Willian could be heading through the exit door in the summer after turning a new contract proposal from the west London giants.
The Brazilian has been with the Blues for the past six-and-a-half years but his future with the club remains in doubt with his current deal due to expire in four months' time.
According to UOL Esporte, the Blues recently put a two-year contract offer on the table but the winger has turned down the proposal as he wants at least a three-year extension.
Should the club fail to meet his demands, he is likely to leave on a free in the summer and reports claim that he could remain in the Premier League with another outfit.
Tottenham Hotspur have been recently credited with an interest in the winger's services, particularly with manager Jose Mourinho said to hold a close relationship with the 31-year-old.
Willian scored the opening goal during the club's 2-0 win over Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Cup last night. He was, however, substituted in the second half with a minor hamstring injury.
