Real Madrid hunt Lucho
Real Madrid have been linked with a move in the summer for Porto's Championship winning centre midfielder Lucho Gonzalez. The Argentinian has been inspired form all season to help Porto to the Portuguese title.
It is believed that Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster is keen to add more central midfielders to his squad for next season after the probable departures of several players, including Diarra.
Lucho has been a regular for Argentina, and the 27-year-old has a contract until 2011 at Porto. It is believed that at least £15 million will be required to sign the player; last summer Everton were linked with Lucho and failed in their efforts to sign the midfielder.
Now Real Madrid are ready to test Porto to sign the player.
