Real Madrid boss given green light to sign Chelsea star
Zinedine Zidane reportedly has the backing from the Real Madrid board to sign Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante.
The Frenchman has been with the Blues for the past three-and-a-half seasons but his future has come into question amid his recent injury concerns.
A recent report suggested that the Blues are willing to sell the midfielder to Los Blancos at the right price in the summer and Marca claims that Zidane has now been given the green light from the club's hierarchy to make the purchase.
Zidane is said to be a keen admirer of the 29-year-old over the past few years and reports claim that he wants the midfielder to either partner or compete with Casemiro for the holding role.
Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain are also deemed to be interested in the former Caen man, having previously failed with an approach to sign him in 2018.
Kante has made only 22 appearances for Frank Lampard's side this term. He has been on the sidelines on a number of occasions due to minor injury setbacks.
