Meunier on Spurs radar

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to sign Thomas Meunier on a free transfer when his contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires during the summer.

The north London side are likely to pursue a new right-back during the next transfer window with manager Jose Mourinho considering the future of Serge Aurier.

According to 90min, Spurs are keeping a close eye on Meunier's situation and they are likely to make a contract offer to the Belgium international in the coming months.

The same outlet suggests that Meunier has a close relationship with compatriot Toby Alderweireld and Spurs are hoping that the latter can convince the right-back to make the move to English capital.

Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in the 28-year-old defender but they may not be able to guarantee playing time with Aaron Wan-Bissaka being an undisputed choice on the right side of the defence.

Meunier has made 128 appearances for Les Parisiens in all competitions. He has been impressive in the attacking aspect of his game with 13 goals and 21 assists in this period.
