Manchester United, Manchester City interested in Dayot Upamecano
Manchester United and Manchester City have reportedly joined the race to land Dayot Upamecano from RB Leipzig during the summer.
The Frenchman's current deal expires at the end of next season and this has already attracted interest from many European sides including Arsenal and Barcelona.
According to Sky Sports News, United and City are weighing up their targets for the summer and they could compete with their European rivals to sign the central defender.
Upamecano has declined to extend his Leipzig contract beyond next summer and reports have claimed that he has a release clause of around £52.5m in his existing deal.
Apart from Upamecano, Timo Werner has also been linked with a probable departure from the Bundesliga outfit. The Germany international has emerged as a top target for Premier League side Liverpool.
Werner has been in superb form for Leipzig in all competitions and he has contributed 27 goals and 12 assists this term from the space of 36 appearances.
