Pasquale Foggia to West Ham

Italian midfielder Pasquale Foggia has been linked with a summer transfer move to the Premiership. West Ham technical director Gianluca Nani has reportedly told the club to attempt to sign the Lazio player.

The midfielder has been impressive this season on loan for Cagliari from Lazio, and Palermo had been linked with a move for Foggia earlier in the season; and Liverpool too were reportedly interested in a shock move.

The 24 year old can play up front or behind the front men, and his good form this season saw him earn his first call up and cap for Italy from Roberto Donadoni; against European minnows Georgia.

The 24 year old also spent some time earlier in the season on loan at Reggina, but technical director Nani will be aware that several other Italian sides will be in the market for Foggia, including Roma.
