United to delay Sancho pursuit?

Manchester United have reportedly cooled their interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho amid the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

The England international has been tipped to sign for the Red Devils over the past year and reports have recently claimed that he has already agreed personal terms with the club.

According to The Mirror, the Red Devils are definitely keen on landing the youngster's services but they are unlikely to do so for the £100m price tag quoted by Dortmund.

It is added that the club are prepared to delay their pursuit of Sancho by another 12 months, given they are unlikely to spend a nine-figure sum on the attacker under the current financial situation.

Sancho has more than two years remaining on his existing deal at Dortmund. In the current season, he has been in splendid form for the German outfit, having bagged 17 goals and 19 assists from only 35 appearances.

Apart from United, Barcelona, Chelsea and Real Madrid have also been credited with an interest in Sancho but none of them are expected to meet Dortmund's valuation for the winger for now.
