Manchester United are reportedly looking to revive their interest in signing Merih Demiral from Juventus during the next transfer window.

The Turkey international joined the Bianconeri on a permanent basis from Sassuolo last summer before he was the subject of interest from the Red Devils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were, however, unable to strike a deal with the Italian champions and they eventually signed Harry Maguire from Leicester City.

According to Tuttosport, the Red Devils have recently been in contact with the Bianconeri and they have enquired over the possibility of signing Demiral.

The centre-back has made only seven appearances this season but he was in good form for the club before suffering a long-term knee injury in January.

He has been valued at around £35m in the past and it remains to be seen whether the Red Devils are willing to pay a similar price for the player.

Maguire and Victor Lindelof have been the regular central defensive pairing under Solskjaer but the Norwegian is said to have concerns over the latter's performances.
