Everton only club interested in Serie A midfielder

Everton reportedly have a clear route to signing midfielder Allan from Napoli when the transfer window reopens in the coming months.

The 29-year-old has been a key player in the centre of the park for Napoli in recent seasons but he has been in-and-out of the starting lineup under current boss Gennaro Gattuso.

Hence, he has been fancied to head through the exit door and Gazzetta dello Sport claims that the Toffees are the clear favourites to sign him without any competition.

Stil, he won't come on the cheap for the Merseyside outfit and Napoli are unlikely to accept anything less than £34m to part ways with the former Udinese man.

Allan has made over 200 appearances for the Serie A club in all competitions. He currently has more than three years left on his existing deal with the side.

Aside from Allan, the Toffees have also been linked with a move for Hirving Lazio from the Italian outfit. The Mexican has struggled to impress in his debut Serie A season and has been linked with a possible exit.
