Manchester United keen on signing Nigerian star?
Manchester United have reportedly included Wilfred Ndidi in their shortlist of targets to strengthen the midfield department this summer.
The Red Devils are planning to recruit a central midfielder in the next transfer window and they have been linked with a number of high-profile players.
Of late, it has been claimed that they could make a move for Ajax's Donny van de Beek but they seem to have a contingency plan in hand in case they miss out on his signature.
According to The Express, the club are looking at the prospect of signing Van de Beek but they face stiff competition from Real Madrid, who came close to signing him last summer.
The same publication claims that Ndidi has been identified as the alternative target for the Red Devils but it is unclear whether Leicester City will consider any offers for the Nigeria international.
Earlier last month, the Red Devils were heavily linked with the signature of teenage midfielder Jude Bellingham from Birmingham City but it appears that the youngster has decided to join Borussia Dortmund.
