Ben Yedder wanted by Arsenal, Manchester United

Arsenal have joined Manchester United in the pursuit of AS Monaco forward Wissam Ben Yedder, a report from L'Equipe claims.

The Frenchman was linked with a Premier League move last summer, but he eventually made the switch to Monaco after they triggered the £35m release clause in his Sevilla contract.

Ben Yedder has since experienced a good season with Monaco where he has bagged 19 goals and nine assists in all competitions but there are still claims that he could be sold.

According to L'Equipe, Monaco are set to face losses of more than £60m after the premature end to the league season due to the coronavirus pandemic and that could see them offload a few first-team stars.

Ben Yedder is definitely one of the players, who could be sold in the next transfer window and that has apparently caught the eye of both Arsenal and United. Monaco are expected to demand a similar fee to that paid to Sevilla last summer.
