Chelsea learn Declan Rice asking price
Chelsea will reportedly need to come up with a bid of around £70m in order to land the signature of Declan Rice from West Ham United this summer.
The Blues are said to be keen on re-signing their former graduate with manager Frank Lampard wanting to play him in the middle of a back three next season.
A recent report claimed that the west London giants could make a £45m offer for the England international but Evening Standard reports that the Hammers are unlikely to consider the package.
Rice has more than four years remaining on his contract with the Hammers and it is suggested that the Blues will have to make a bid of at least £70m to convince their cross-town rivals into a sale.
Manchester United have also been credited with an interest in Rice but they are said to prioritise the signing of Jack Grealish. The Villains captain is likely to be available for around £60m.
