Manchester United lining up move for Torino star
Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on the situation of Andrea Belotti ahead of a potential move for his services.
The Red Devils recently renewed the loan deal of Odion Ighalo until January 2021 and he has barely played for them with the sublime form of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood.
Still, manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seems keen on pursuing another quality marksman ahead of next season, considering the club have previously gone through phases where they have sufficient depth due to injuries.
According to Tuttosport, Belotti has emerged as an option for the Red Devils boss and the club are exploring at the prospect of negotiating a deal with Torino this summer.
The Serie A side have been reluctant to sell him below the £90m release clause over the years but it is claimed that they could accept a lesser fee in the next transfer window.
Torino are currently languishing near the relegation places in the Italian top-flight but Belotti has been once again impressive. He has bagged 16 league goals and scored a further six times in other competitions.
