Arsenal offered chance to sign Barcelona star on loan
Arsenal have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign Philippe Coutinho on a season-long loan from Barcelona during this summer's transfer window.
The Brazil international is currently out on loan at Bayern Munich where he has contributed nine goals and eight assists, but the German outfit have already decided against buying him on a permanent deal.
Hence, he is expected to return to the Camp Nou during the summer, but it appears unlikely that he will be integrated into the club's plans for the 2020/21 campaign.
As a result, he has been fancied to make a Premier League comeback and Sport claims that agent Kia Joorabchian has discussed the possibility of taking his client to the Gunners.
The Blaugrana are prepared to loan out Coutinho for another campaign and the Gunners could take the option with the choice to make the deal permanent in 12 months' time.
Coutinho's £250,000-a-week wages have previously been deemed as a stumbling block, but the Blaugrana are prepared to ease those concerns by paying part of his salary.
