Arsenal graduate wanted by Brighton & Hove Albion

Brighton & Hove Albion are said to be one of the clubs interested in signing Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Arsenal this summer.

The 22-year-old has largely featured for the Gunners in the full-back or wing-back positions, but his game time has been limited under Mikel Arteta.

Hence, there has been speculation regarding his future with the club and Evening Standard claims that Brighton could make a move to sign him.

Maitland-Niles has previously expressed his desire to play in his preferred midfield role, but he has yet to receive any opportunities in the position.

He has caught the eye whenever he has started for the Gunners, but the lure of regular first-team football could contribute towards his exit.

Arsenal are likely to work on a limited summer budget and they are expected to offload few players to boost their transfer kitty.

Maitland-Niles is one of the players, who could be shown the exit door. They are likely to demand around £20m for his sale this summer.
