Manchester United close to signing Jadon Sancho
Manchester United are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Borussia Dortmund for the purchase of Jadon Sancho.
The Red Devils have been heavily tipped to sign the England international this summer, but a deal has not been finalised until now.
Dortmund's £105m price tag has obviously delayed the negotiations, but The Mirror claims that United have reached a suitable agreement.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side are prepared to pay an initial £70m for the transfer and they will settle the remaining £35m over a period of 24 months.
Sancho is currently on a weekly wage of 75,000-a-week and he is expected to triple his salary when he makes the move to Old Trafford.
Elsewhere, he will be handed the iconic number 7 jersey from Alexis Sanchez, who is set to leave the club permanently this summer.
The Chile international will be released by Red Devils this month such that he can make the switch to Inter Milan on a three-year contract.
