Watford set asking price for Ismaila Sarr

Watford reportedly have no plans of selling Ismaila Sarr unless their £40m asking price is set.

The Senegal international joined the Hornets from Rennes last summer and he had a decent debut season with six goals and six assists.

With the club's relegation from the Premier League, he has been fancied to head for the exit door, but so far, there have been no suitable offers.

According to The Mirror, the Hornets are not actively looking to sell Sarr and they could be prepared to keep him in the Championship.

Both Liverpool and Manchester United have been credited with an interest, but it is claimed that the Hornets won't sell him for anything less than £40m.

Sarr has previously stated that he would be happy to remain with the Hornets next term, suppose they are reluctant to sanction his sale.

Watford started their league season with a victory over Middlesbrough. They are scheduled to face Sheffield Wednesday on the road tomorrow.
