United to make last-gasp bid for Sancho

Manchester United are prepared to pay £65m upfront for the services of Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.

The England international has been the Red Devils' prime target for the transfer window, but they have failed to strike an agreement.

Dortmund are reluctant to accept anything less than £108m for Sancho, but The Mirror reports that United are still prepared to make a last-gasp offer.

The Mancunian giants are set to make a bid of around £90m for the 20-year-old with £25m coming in the form of easily achievable add-ons.

There are only eight days before the transfer window closes and it remains to be seen whether Dortmund will accept a lesser fee for Sancho.

Manchester United have made just one signing during the current transfer window. Donny van de Beek joined them from Ajax earlier this month.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is eager to make more signings and reports claim that he wants a new left-back and right-winger before the deadline.
