Inter Milan chief responds to N'Golo Kante speculation
Inter Milan sporting director Piero Ausilio has insisted that the club have no chance of signing midfielder N'Golo Kante from Chelsea.
The Frenchman had an injury-plagued 2019/2020 season with the Blues where he made only 28 appearances across all competitions.
In recent days, it has been claimed that Kante has made himself available in the transfer market and he could leave, suppose the Blues are able to land Declan Rice from West Ham United.
Inter have been mentioned as the main contenders to sign him due to the presence of former Blues boss Antonio Conte, but Ausilio has dismissed the speculation.
"Kante is not on the market, he's a starter at Chelsea. We're not in talks for him also because we've already eight midfielders in our team," he was quoted as saying by DAZN.
Kante has been ever-present in the Premier League for the Blues this season. Frank Lampard remains a huge admirer of the World Cup winner and he recently said that he has no desire to sell him for any price this summer.
