West Ham United make transfer decision on Declan Rice
West Ham United have no plans of considering the sale of midfielder Declan Rice amid the reported interest from Chelsea.
The Blues have already spent more than £220m on seven major signings, but they are still looking for another player to reinforce the central defence.
Rice has largely played as the central midfielder for the Hammers, but he has in the past excelled with his displays at the heart of the backline.
Hence, the Blues are planning a late approach for his services, but Standard Sport claims that the Hammers have no desire to sell him.
Rice has evolved into a key player for the Hammers over the past three years and he has recently grown into a leader in the centre of the park.
He has already worn the captain's armband in two of the three league games this term and the club are unwilling to consider his sale this summer.
Rice has nearly four years remaining on his Hammers contract with the option for another 12 months.
